I'm sure may pet owners have seen Pedi-Paws advertised on Television. One of the popular as advertised on TV items today.

No pet owner would not want to spend the $20 for this item if it means not hurting their lovable pets. I happen to be one such pet owner.

Pedi Paws is advertised as:

√ The new, fast, easy and gentle way to give your pet a
    perfect pedicure in just minutes

√ Perfectly controlled so your pet is perfectly safe

√ In seconds sharp and jagged edges are gone

As the product is extensively advertised on TV its hard not to notice it and the television commercials for Pedi Paws show it being used so easily and safely.

I decided to buy one and NOT take a chance of hurting my 12 week old Bichon Frise.

Pedi Paws is sold on television for around $19.99 to $29.99. I have seen prices of as low as $18.99.

I was not at all impressed with this product. In fact it is most certainly not the fast and easy way to give your pet a perfect pedicure as the advertisements say.

While the noise level is minor and did not bother my pet, the second the grinding wheel touched the puppy's nail it bothered him to an extent that I just gave up after trying to do at least one nail over a period of three days.

I can't imagine many dogs being able to enjoy have their nails filed by a grinding wheel. Except of course, the dog is on television.

I decided to go the traditional way and use a nail clipper. If a little care is taken not to clip too much then the chance of hurting your pet does not arise.

So unless you have an amazing pet that will lay back and let you file away I would stay away from this product.

I found out about this video only after buying the product and finding the website address for the information video enclosed inside the box of Pedi Paws. After watching the Pedi Paws video you should have a good idea of whether Pedi Paws is the gadget for you or if you should stick with the old nail clipper.

Review:  Not that great! Save your money!    

Have you seen the advertisements for the Deli Dicer on TV?

This product is advertised as a dicer that can cut up just about anything by only pressing down on it. It is supposed to In one simple action, dice fruits, vegetables perfectly and have it collect in one convenient and easy to use bowl.

The Product is advertised with the following features:

• Easy to use and saves time in the kitchen

• Place the food you want to chop in the Deli Dicer, and press down on it

• Once food is cut, it falls into a handy storage container that attaches directly to the Deli Dicer itself

• Anti-slip pads keep the Deli Dicer steady and secure on your countertop

• Dishwasher safe makes it easy to clean

• Safe to use, your hands don’t come near the cutting blades

• Use the Deli Dicer for onions, peppers, tomatoes, apples and more

The Deli Dice is sold on the internet from $9.99 to $29.99 plus shipping.

Presently its sold on the internet and marketed on Television. I have not seen it in stores so far.

I bought this dicer on the internet.

In their television ads they show you models using this dicer easily cutting an onion with one simple push. Not as easy when you try and do it in your kitchen. You better have strong muscles if you are thinking of buying this product.

You need strength to push the blades down on the onion to slice it. There are no magic gears to help you and this dicer works only on muscle power. There is a leaflet included in the box of this product advising users to, "dip the cutting blades in water as wet blades cut quicker and need less effort."  Believe me it made no difference whether we dipped the blade in water or not. You do need to have the strength to push the blade down.

Those tomatoes that slice so uniformly on television are also not easy to cut without the juice running on the cutting board.

Will I use it again, NO! If you are thinking of buying one, well its your money!

If you do decide to check for yourself, then check out the price. I paid $19.99 for the dicer and $11.99 for shipping to Canada as that's where I live. The prices mentioned here are in US dollars. They added $4.16 for tax for a grand total of US$36.14. The irony is that even though I was charged in US dollars the product was shipped from Brampton, Ontario. It so happens that Brampton is only a ten minute drive from Mississauga, Ontario where I live.

This was two weeks ago. Now the product is selling for $9.99 plus shipping.

When shopping remember the shipping costs.
